Join hosts Bruno Welsh of Compost RVA to learn how to build and care for a small-scale home worm composting bin! Reduce your waste and make a naturally amazing fertilizer for your garden, with your very own worm condo. A family of worms makes the perfect pet to care for or gift for an ecologically conscious friend.
We will provide:
- Worm bins, out of recycled Styrofoam insulated mailers (~24″x24″x12″). For those of you that have your own worm bin in mind, feel free to bring it too!
- A handful of composting worms! (Red wrigglers)
- Bedding material and starter compostable food waste
Registration is open! To sign-up for this workshop please pre-register by making an online donation to reserve your worms.
